How to Monetize Pay Per View Events and VODs

There are a few different items that make up the “Processing fees” for all Pay Per View ticket sales on https://tiki6.tikilive.com/manual.

Streaming platform.com reserves the right to charge 2 types of Fees for Pay Per View content. These fees will be deducted from ticket price.

1. Service fee – This is basically the % you pay to Site Administrator for using the site services. This fee is 25% of the VOD price.

2. Admin Hold Back Fee This fee is 20% from the VOD price and is hold for the situations when refunds are asked by users or Credit Card and Paypal Charge Backs. As cost for refund (sending back the money + refund price) can be more than VOD or event price, we reserve the right to hold admin fee from all the videos and events and apply the refund costs to Broadcaster total earnings. If no refund will be done within 30 days from the moment of selling the PPV content, the hold back fee will be send to Broadcaster with the next payment or in the same terms as a normal payment.

Important: If the amount to be sent to the broadcaster does not cover the fees for sending that amount, the money will be hold and send in the next payment. (Eg. Broadcaster has 1 pay per view event of $1 sold and he needs to receive $0.55 for this purchase)

For all Pay per view transactions (pay per view video, pay per view event) the broadcaster is paid once per month, by the 17th of the next month for the earnings resulted from previous month. (Eg: For Video On Demand sold by March, 31st, payment is send to broadcaster by April, 17th)

Example:

Ticket sale set at $10.

1. Service fee of $2.5

2. Admin holdback fee = $2 (will be send back to broadcaster within a month).

Your final earnings for that sale  = $7.50 per ticket sold.
