Important: We Recommend to deploy the Better than Radio optional module to a dedicated server to avoid Radio Loads from effecting your LIVE streaming platform. It can be installed on a Dedicated server that your Streaming platform License is running on, but it is not recommended.
Streaming platform radio allows users to become professional DJs and broadcast live on their own radio stations. With Streaming platform you are now able to stream HD audio to any device including iPhones and Android phones and tablets.
In this chapter we will explain the steps that need to be followed for the best functionality of Better than Radio module:
1. The administrator of the website manages all user groups from the platform and he can enable the permissions for users to access Better than Radio module
2. A user who enters Streaming platform platform has the possibility to subscribe to Better than Radio account type
3. Once the subscription is completed, he will become a broadcaster and create a new radio channel
4. After that, the broadcaster can stream live on his radio channel. All he needs to do is to follow some simple steps in order to broadcast live on his radio channel
5. The broadcaster can add his own audio files to the Streaming platform Audio library
6. After the files are added in the library, the broadcaster can build a new playlist and attach it to a channel
7. The broadcaster can also create an event on the radio channel; he can schedule a playlist to play on a channel at a specific time
8. The broadcaster can white label his radio channel player
9. The broadcaster can manage all his audio playlists and edit the details of the audio playlists
10. The broadcaster can manage all his radio channels and edit the details of the radio channel settings
11. The broadcaster can check the status of his radio channels at anytime
12. If the broadcaster wants to stream live of his radio station and play the songs directly from his computer he can select Winamp DJ software
13. If the broadcaster wants to stream live of his radio station and play the songs directly from his computer he can select Virtual DJ software
Note: he broadcaster should check the system requirements for using Virtual DJ software, before installing it on his computer
14. The administrator of the website can manage all existing radio channels from the platform
15. The administrator of the website can edit the details of radio channels
16. The administrator of the website can edit the radio stream publishing details
17. The administrator of the website can also check all radios audience reports
18. Everybody can listen to the desired radio channel from Streaming platform platform
