When you are making an auto-record of your broadcast done with HD Wave or 3rd party broadcasters, if the recorded file is greater or equal to 2 GB, it will be saved as F4V
Please note that the F4V files cannot be cropped and they cannot be played on Roku
We recommend to save the recording files at size NO greater than 1.9GB
This applies when you are broadcasting using H.264 video stream
Notes:
- If the broadcast is disconnected, the broadcaster will try to reconnect on its own and resume on success so there is no advantage in stopping the broadcast. Recording will function similarly on either manual or automatic restart
- At the moment there is an auto-recording limit of 24 hours for all FMS files
For Streaming platform4, ME Cropper v 1.4.3: cropped F4V FMS records for broadcasts with Wirecast which have more than 2GB will have A/V sync issues and video artefacts
