Broadcaster confirmation process detailed

As administrator you can allow the new registered broadcasters to start using the full broadcaster features from the moment they confirmed their account, or you can manually approve each new broadcaster request.

In this page we will detail the entire broadcaster confirmation process.

First step is to set the broadcaster confirmation option to On. The Broadcaster confirmation option is listed in Site Settings page under the Registration option area.

Important: When the Free trial period is active (Offer default group as Free Trial option set to Yes) the broadcaster confirmation option is disabled by default.

 

Once the broadcaster confirmation is enabled, all new broadcasters that will register into the website will need to be manually approved by the administrator. They will be listed into Broadcasters confirmation requests page with status pending, as displayed into the following image:

 

The administrator will have to check the box corresponding to the broadcaster account that he wants to approve and select the Accept option from the drop-down menu that is on the bottom of the page.

In order to deny a broadcaster request, the administrator will have to check the box corresponding to the broadcaster account that he wants to reject and select the Deny option from the drop-down menu that is on the bottom of the page.

 

The user will be upgraded to broadcaster account type and he will have access to broadcaster features.
